Exciting news, on top of the regular team based training, Hornsby RSL Football Club will be offering term based additional training for age groups U6 and upwards.
Hornsby RSL Football Club Football School is a school term based football offer for players of Hornsby RSL Football Club only.
The football school is offered to registered players of HRSL FC only.  This means that to attend the football school you first must register as a HRSL FC player in   When you register with the club, you are registering for your child to play and participate in football throughout the winter sports season.
Football school offers a second night of training to HRSL FC players.   The football school sessions will be run by the Northern Suburbs Football Association.  The sessions will be executed by fully accredited coaches and the focus will be upon the key phases of the Football Federation Australia National Curriculum.

Where is the football school and what time?

The football school will run for 3 complete school terms, with the first term starting late Jan/early Feb.  That is an incredible 30 weeks of player development.  A fourth football school term may also be offered later during 2017.
The football school will run on a Friday evening between 4:45pm and 7:30pm.  Sessions for U6 and U7 will run for 45 minutes.   Sessions for all other age groups will run for 55 minutes.  Exact start times for each age group will be determined when attendee numbers are confirmed.
The football school will be held at Mills Park, Baldwin Avenue, Asquith.  Mills Park is the new home ground for Hornsby RSL Football club.
Team training for all age groups will also take place at Mills Park, once a week.

Football school costs

For players U6 and U7 attendance at the football school will be free and included in the cost of club registration.   This means that players born, 2010, 2011 or 2012 and are either turning 5, 6 or 7 during 2017 can attend the school free of charge providing they are registered with HRSL FC.   Please note that the numbers in this age group will be capped with priority given to those that register early.
For players U8 to U11 attendance at the football school will involve an additional charge per term.  This is a club subsidised cost and represents great value.  Again, this opportunity is only available to those players that are registered to play for the club.  Normal registration costs also apply.
Football school for players U12 and U13 is subject to number of players that are registered with the club and who express an interest in attending football school.  Attendance will involve the additional charge per term. Again, this opportunity is only available to those players that are registered to play for the club.  Normal registration costs also apply.
We are currently refining our budgets for 2017 so will release costing for the football school shortly for age groups U8 and upwards.

How do I register to join the football school?

Email once you have registered with the club.  In the email indicate child age in 2017.  You can only register your child.
When you register for the football school you will be expected to commit to 3 terms of attending the football school.
